Daniel was encouraged to visit our practice by our Treatment Coordinator, Michelle, who knows Daniel socially. Daniel is an easy-going, very pleasant 25-year-old who works for a San Antonio area athletic training organization. He is interested in correcting the crowding of his upper and lower front teeth, but he wants a treatment option that will fit his active lifestyle.
Daniel is an ideal Invisalign candidate – he’s a young, single professional who desires to improve his smile but would not consider braces. And he’s highly motivated to achieve his desired results. Clinically, Daniel’s problems are mostly dental, not skeletal. What makes Daniel’s case interesting and somewhat challenging is the mild cant to the occlusal plane. The lower arch requires complete leveling to achieve the best fit of the occlusion, and I’ll need to use some elastics down the road.
Chief Complaint: Crowding of front teeth.
- Eliminate crowding
- Level the lower arch / decrease the overbite
- Coordinate arch forms
- Improve right side occlusion toward full Class I
