Patient did not like his canines sticking out. In addition the patient did not want surgery or extractions.

Distalized Maxillary arch 5mm into a full class I relationship
3/16 heavy and 6.5 oz elastics were used throughout treatment to maintain anchorage in order to correct the class II relationship
No case refinement was needed

Treatment Tip

Using Class II/III elastics with Invisalign is an advanced clinical skill that requires additional treatment planning experience. Align's ClinCheck® software will show a "virtual" jump in the last stage in cases where Class II/III elastics are expected to be used simultaneously with the aligners throughout the entire treatment until the desired bite correction is achieved.
