Diagnosis

Patient's Chief Concern
Patient was concerned about her flared upper front teeth and referred to them as "Bucked Teeth". One tooth was also darker in color.

Diagnostic Summary
  • Patient had typella perio
  • Endodontically treated maxillary right lateral which had discoloration
  • Tooth size discrepancy in maxillary arch
  • Patient had financial concerns and therefore decided to only treat the maxillary arch

Treatment

Treatment Summary
  • Expanded the maxillary anterior segment
  • Uprighted the central incisors
  • Conservative use of IPR distal to the maxillary centrals to reduce tooth size discrepancy
  • Corrected rotation of maxillary canines
Post Invisalign Treatment
  • 3/4 porcelain crowns for maxillary centrals and laterals were placed
  • Selective cosmetic contouring of the mandibular anteriors and the maxillary canines was performed
  • Whitening

Treatment Tip

Invisalign is a system that can help more ideally position the teeth and redistribute space to prepare for restorative and cosmetic treatment. Because the aligners are virtually invisible, patients tend to accept the treatment more readily.
